« Le Cerf Blanc » 12 pers.

In the small village of Smuid, in the heart of the Ardennes and Haute-Lesse forests, Laurence and Luc-Emmanuel de Hults welcome you to their charming cottages.

On the edge of the Mirwart and Saint-Hubert forests lies the cottages constructed
of local stone, as well as slates and cladding of oak and were designed by Luc-Emmanuel, interior designer.

Great care given to the cottage’s furnishing and construction materials creates an inviting ambiance which incorporates both authentic and contemporary elements.

For a weekend or more, the cottages can accommodate 14 guests for "Le Cerf Noir" and 12 guests for "Le Cerf Blanc".

“Le Pré du Cerf” allows you to take advantage of all the pleasures of a region that has conserved its authenticity.

Le Cerf Blanc

“Le Cerf Blanc” is a place to gather, to share, and to savour the joy of being together.

 

Whether for a WE escape or a longer stay, this elegant and light filled gîte welcomes up to 12 guests and offers the perfect setting to create lasting memories with family or friends, in the heart of an authentic and unspoiled Ardennes.

A warm interior designed for togetherness : a cosy living room with a STUV wood stove, an inviting dining area, and an open kitchen where everyone naturally comes together to cook, chat and enjoy. A practical utility room completes the space.

On the ground floor, a double bedroom with private bathroom offers peace and privacy.

Upstairs, everyone finds their own retreat:

  • 2 double bedrooms, each with a private bathroom,
  • a six bed dormitory, perfect for children, cousins or friends,
  • an additional bathroom for the dormitory.

Each bed is prepared with a soft duvet and a comfortable pillow, ensuring restful nights after days spent outdoors.

The semi-covered terrace, overlooking the garden, quickly becomes the heart of your stay: outdoor meals, relaxing moments in the loungers, long evenings around the barbecue (available from 1 April to 30 September). A space designed to fully embrace the surrounding nature.

Nature as your immediate horizon. At the end of the garden, a direct path leads you to the forest trails that wind through the woods. Here, nature is always present: walks, play, discovery, silence… A preserved environment where you breathe, slow down, and reconnect with what truly matters.
