« Le Cerf Noir » 14 pers.

In the small village of Smuid, in the heart of the Ardennes and Haute-Lesse forests, Laurence and Luc-Emmanuel de Hults welcome you to their charming cottages.

On the edge of the Mirwart and Saint-Hubert forests lies the cottages constructed
of local stone, as well as slates and cladding of oak and were designed by Luc-Emmanuel, interior designer.

Great care given to the cottage’s furnishing and construction materials creates an inviting ambiance which incorporates both authentic and contemporary elements.

For a weekend or more, the cottages can accommodate 14 guests for "Le Cerf Noir" and 12 guests for "Le Cerf Blanc ".

“Le Pré du Cerf” allows you to take advantage of all the pleasures of a region that has conserved its authenticity.

Le Cerf Noir

“Le Cerf Noir” is a place to gather, to laugh, and to share meaningful moments.

 

Whether for a weekend escape or a longer stay, this welcoming and beautifully designed home accommodates up to 14 guests. It offers the perfect setting to create lasting memories with family or friends, right in the heart of an authentic and unspoiled Ardennes.

As soon as you step inside, the atmosphere embraces you: a cosy living room with an open fire, a warm dining room with a wood-burning stove, and an open kitchen where everyone naturally comes together to cook, chat and enjoy. Every space is designed to encourage togetherness, without ever compromising on comfort.

On the ground floor, a double bedroom with private bathroom provides peace and privacy.

Upstairs, everyone finds their own retreat:

  • a double bedroom with private bathroom,

  • two double bedrooms,

  • a bathroom,

  • and a six-bed dormitory, a favourite hideout for children, cousins or friends who love to stretch the evening a little longer.

Each bed is prepared with a soft duvet and a comfortable pillow, ensuring restful nights after days spent outdoors.

The semi-covered terrace, overlooking the garden, quickly becomes the heart of your stay: outdoor meals, relaxing moments in the loungers, long evenings around the barbecue (available from 1 April to 30 September). In the garage, a ping-pong table promises spontaneous tournaments and plenty of laughter.

From the garden, a direct path leads you to the forest trails that wind through the woods. Here, nature is your constant companion: walks, play, discovery, silence…

Le Noyer

On the ground floor: living room with fireplace, dining room with a wood-burning stove, kitchen,
laundry room, and a double bedroom with a private bathroom.

On the first floor there is a double bedroom with a private bathroom, two double bedrooms, a bathroom and a larger room with six beds.
All beds have duvets. 

The semi-covered terrace overlooks the garden, table and benches, sun lounges and a barbecue.
Forest with access to hiking trails. Ping-pong in the garage.
